Dear uncle,
I don't have enough words to describe how I enjoyed the 2 weeks with you.
Such a wonderful and interesting time I shall never forget.
I got back to work and normal life but I have all the time meetings with new people
whose stories I write down to get a fuller picture of the period. I shall update you of
interesting stuff in next letter.
I still haven't got anything from Nancy, your friend Kenny Klienfeld's daughter, who
was supposed to send me some information by the internet.
I carefully read the 2 articles you gave me, the first about Anzio and the second about
Berga camp. I wish I knew it while still in N.Y. with you so I could hear about your
personal experience first-hand but, I guess, it will have to wait till our next meeting.
Together with this letter I send you 2 pictures (see also back of picture in the snow -
what exactly does it say ?) which I now have preserved in my archive.
I also want to remind you that you promised me to do your best to get me those letters
that your uncle Favel Buchwald used to write from Poland and presumably also
pictures sent from Poland to America up until the War (all probably kept now by
Rendie).
Hope you enjoyed your trip to Europe and that you are back home in good shape.
